Connect Your Salesforce Calendar with External Calendars
Use Einstein Activity Capture app to connect Salesforce calendar with an external calendar, such as Microsoft® Outlook® or Google Calendar™. If you use Einstein Activity Capture, tell your users which calendar to use to edit events based on the sync direction you set.
Required Editions
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions
Note:
- Appointments created in Salesforce Scheduler are view-only on Salesforce calendar. Modify or cancel those appointments in Salesforce Scheduler.
- When you set the sync direction to bidirectional or Salesforce to external calendar, appointments created in Salesforce Scheduler appear as events on your external calendar. Modify or cancel those appointments in Salesforce Scheduler. Don't modify or cancel those events directly on the external calendar. Doing so can cause events to be out of sync with Salesforce calendar.
- Service Resources of type asset can't be synced with external calendars.
