Set up Salesforce Inbox for recruiting

Use flair Inbox, flair's custom Salesforce Inbox pane, to connect recruiting emails and calendar events with candidate records in Salesforce.

Who can use this?

Recruiters in Salesforce with the Salesforce extension for Gmail or Microsoft Outlook. A Salesforce Admin enables the email integration.

Before you begin​

Enable the email integration​

  1. In Salesforce Setup, enter Gmail Integration and Sync or Outlook Integration and Sync in Quick Find.
  2. Open the matching integration page.
  3. Enable the integration for the selected provider. Recruiters can now capture candidate contacts, CVs, and other recruiting information from their email.

Log a calendar event​

  1. In Gmail or Outlook, create the calendar appointment.
  2. In the Salesforce extension, select Create Event.
  3. Confirm the related contact. Salesforce saves the appointment as an activity on the matching candidate record.
