Candidate Communication from the Hub

Hiring managers can view the full email conversation with a candidate and send emails to candidates directly from the Employee Hub, without needing access to Salesforce.

Viewing and Sending Candidate Emails

  1. Open the Employee Hub in manager view and navigate to the candidate's application.
  2. Open the Communication section to see the full email thread with the candidate.
  3. Compose and send a new email directly from this view — it's added to the same thread visible in Salesforce.

Turning Candidate Communication Off

Admins can hide candidate communication from the Hub using the Hide Candidate Communication setting. This can be applied:

  • Company-wide
  • Per entity
  • Per location
  • Per department
  • Per employee

When hidden, hiring managers no longer see the Communication section on candidate applications in the Hub, and continue to use the Salesforce Recruiting Inbox instead.
