Temporarily Disabling Notifications
If you need to temporarily disable all email notifications (for example, when uploading a large number of employee documents in bulk), you can do so via Salesforce email deliverability settings:
- In Salesforce Setup, search for Deliverability in the Quick Find box.
- Under Access to Send Email, change the setting to No Access.
- Perform your bulk operations.
- When finished, change the setting back to All Email to re-enable notifications.
warning
This disables all outgoing emails from Salesforce, not just flair notifications. Remember to re-enable email delivery when you're done.
Troubleshooting Notification Emails
Notification emails in flair are sent from Salesforce. Most notifications go through the Employee Email Notification object, but hub invitations are sent directly.
If employees are not receiving notification emails, check the following:
- DKIM/SPF settings: Ensure your domain's DKIM and SPF records are properly configured in Salesforce to prevent emails from being marked as spam. See Email Notifications for setup instructions.
- Email deliverability: In Salesforce Setup, verify that email deliverability is set to All Email.
- User permissions: Confirm that the sending user has the required permissions to send emails.
- Spam folders: Ask employees to check their spam/junk folders.
- Email addresses: Verify that employee email addresses are correct in their records.
