Time Balance Withdrawals, Request Form Filters, and Helpdesk Attachments
🆕 New Features
Time Tracking: Employees can now withdraw from their time balance in the Employee Hub and choose where it goes — monetary compensation or an absence allowance. Previously this choice existed only in Salesforce, so the Hub route needed a manual workaround.
Requests: Request forms can now be grouped into categories and filtered by category in the Hub. The category list is yours to define, which makes a long list of forms navigable.
Help Desk: HR Helpdesk tickets now accept multiple file uploads, so an employee can attach a payslip and its supporting documents to one ticket instead of opening follow-ups.
Absence Management: Document upload on absence requests can now be configured as optional rather than mandatory, so an employee isn't blocked from submitting when the document isn't available yet.
🔧 Improvements
Time Tracking: Scheduled standard breaks are now included in the workload prefill for manual time entries, so default break times are applied automatically.
Recruiting: Word documents attached to a candidate profile can now be previewed in the Employee Hub, the same way PDFs and images already could — no need to download candidate files locally just to read them.
Settings: Location and Department records now carry an Active flag, and dropdowns that reference them across the product show only the active ones, so retired locations and departments stop appearing as options.
Skills: Skill names can now be stored per language, so a German or French employee sees the skill catalog in their own language.
🐞 Bug Fixes
Shift Planning: Shift transfer notifications now appear in the Hub notification centre and as mobile push notifications. Emails were being delivered for the whole transfer lifecycle — requested, accepted, declined, approved, rejected — but the in-app notifications never arrived.
Absence Management: The absence period now follows anniversary-based accrual policies. The Hub showed "January to December" and bucketed accrued, taken and planned days against the calendar year even when allowances were granted on each employee's work anniversary.
Employee Hub: A Word document attached to a workflow task no longer breaks the task's side panel — the file is offered as a download instead of being previewed.
Career Portal: Fixed a large empty gap between the application form and the other-jobs section on smaller screens.
