Integrations updates — September 2026

This entry covers changes to flair Integrations deployed in September 2026.

🆕 New Features

DATEV: With DATEV HR Exchange, flair can now sync payroll data with DATEV (LODAS and Lohn und Gehalt) in both directions. Field mappings are configurable, and you can run the initial sync as a dry run to preview the changes before applying them.

Email: You can now connect your own SMTP server, for example AWS SES or SendGrid, so high-volume recruiting and employee notification emails are no longer limited by Salesforce's daily email allowance. A sandbox mode lets you review the emails in a test inbox instead of delivering them.

eSign: When sending a document for signature, you can now place a date of signing and a place of signing next to each signer's signature, plus your own labelled text field for the signer to fill in.

Employee data: When an employee's IBAN changes, the bank name and BIC can now be filled in automatically.

🔧 Improvements

DATEV: You can now choose which data is fetched during the initial sync with DATEV, and flair only checks the DATEV products you have enabled.

Skills: Certificates now keep obvious skill matches, for example a "Salesforce Administrator" certificate suggests the skill "Salesforce", while partial-word matches are avoided.

🐞 Bug Fixes

Integrations: Reconnecting an integration now fully restores it. Before, an integration whose Salesforce connection had been broken for several days could still show as connected while features like CV parsing silently stopped working.

Career Portal: Changes to a Career Portal in flair, including "Force update", show up on the live portal immediately again instead of after up to an hour.
