Hub updates — September 2025

This entry covers changes to Hub deployed in September 2025.

🆕 New Features

Absences: Employees can now request hourly absences that span several days and set the start and end time for each day.

Absences: Absences now follow the visibility set on their absence category. An absence can be visible to everyone, only to the team, or only to the employee and their manager.

Inventory: The inventory support tab can now embed support videos from any video link, not only Loom.

🔧 Improvements

Recruiting: Free-text answers in candidate evaluations now keep their formatting.

Absences: When the selected times in an absence request are not valid, the Hub now shows a clear error message.

Salary Changes: The Daily option is no longer offered as a salary frequency when creating a new salary, because it is not supported.

Position Changes: Position change requests now support employees with more than one employment and show only the main position.

Languages: Picklist values now show their German label when the Hub is set to Swiss German.

General: The home page now loads its notifications with fewer requests to Salesforce.

🐞 Bug Fixes

Recruiting: Candidate profiles and evaluations can now only be opened by employees who have access to that candidate.

Recruiting: Saving a candidate evaluation no longer creates duplicate answers.

Engagement Surveys: Fixed an error when removing an answer to a survey question.

Salary Changes: Dates and the bi-weekly salary frequency are now handled correctly in salary and position change requests.

General: Various smaller fixes and performance improvements.
