Hub updates — February 2024
This entry covers changes to Hub deployed in February 2024.
🆕 New Features
Time Balance: Employees now have a Time Balance tab on the Time Tracking page showing their current balance and how it is calculated. Timesheets have a Time Balance column, which is shown by default.
Time Balance: Time balance transfers now appear in timesheets, whether the balance was moved to an absence category, reset, or paid out as a one-time compensation. A new "Time balance transfer" notification can be managed in notification settings.
Time Tracking: Companies can now set a maximum daily working limit. Employees see a warning about their limit, time tracking can stop automatically once it is reached, and employees and their managers get a "Maximum daily limit reached" notification, which can be muted in notification settings.
Project Time Tracking: The maximum daily working limit also applies to project time tracking, and is not applied on days without workload.
Analytics: Managers have a new Analytics page with Absence rate, Employee turnover rate and Overtime report views. You can send feedback about Analytics from the page.
🔧 Improvements
Documents: Documents, document previews and profile pictures are now loaded through a secure, signed-in download instead of public links.
Recruiting: The Hub now respects the visibility setting on recruiting documents.
Calendar: Holidays are shown in a more contrasting color.
🐞 Bug Fixes
Absences: Additional managers now see the correct taken and scheduled amounts in their employees' absence balances. Fixed how special characters are shown in the absence calendar.
Project Time Tracking: Time entries are blocked correctly on days with restricted absences, and changing an entry to 0 hours now saves.
Dashboard: Today's birthdays and anniversaries now show on the right day in every time zone.
General: Fixed initials in profile pictures for employees without a last name, and other smaller fixes.
