AI Document Answers, Cheers Controls, and Absence Calendar Improvements
π New Featuresβ
Documents β AI Assistant: The AI command bar now answers questions using your company's own policy documents. When an employee asks something like "I feel unwell, what should I do?", the assistant finds the relevant policy, gives a tailored answer based on what HR actually wrote, cites the source document, and offers the next step such as requesting sick leave. Employees only see answers sourced from documents they're allowed to access, and newly uploaded documents are available immediately. Requires a Flair AI subscription.
Cheers: HR admins can now force Birthday and "Congrats" (Anniversaries-widget) cheers to always stay private, and can hide the Loom video banner on celebration cards. Each setting is independently controlled under the new "Cheers Visibility" section on the Employee HUB Feature record β keeping the Cheers feed focused on written feedback rather than public birthday or anniversary posts.
π§ Improvementsβ
Absence Management: Pending absences now show a striped overlay in absence calendars (employee, team, and manager views) when their category is configured to visually separate pending requests. This makes it easy to spot which absences are still awaiting approval. Enabled per category in Salesforce.
Documents: HR administrators can now prevent employees from uploading their own documents in the Employee Hub. When the restriction is on, Upload buttons on the personal Documents page and dashboard profile widget are hidden. Uploads made through Request Forms are unaffected.
Notifications: Employees now receive a Hub notification when their Employee Data Change Request is approved, rejected, or has a new comment.
π Bug Fixesβ
Time Tracking: Fixed an issue where the Manager Override screen appeared unnecessarily when an employee used a PIN to clock in on a kiosk configured with both PIN and face recognition. The screen now only appears when face recognition is the sole login method.
Settings: Fixed an issue where customers who changed their Employee Hub domain in Salesforce were locked out of the new domain with an "Organization not found" error. The domain now updates automatically.
