Hub updates — October 2025

This entry covers changes to Hub deployed in October 2025.

🆕 New Features

Expenses: The expenses overview now shows expenses and expense groups as tiles. Employees can create an expense group, which starts as a draft, and can delete draft expenses and groups. Approvals for expenses in a group now happen on the expense group.

Absences: Absence approvals now run through approval requests. Approvers see an Approval Path tab showing who reviews the request next, a new "Skipped" status, and new "All Absences" and "Pending Absence Requests" menu items.

Time Tracking: Employees can now add more than one time entry on the same day. The Hub warns when time entries overlap.

Time Tracking: The Hub now prevents time entries when no workload is defined, when the workload does not allow time tracking, or on days with an absence that blocks time tracking, and explains why time tracking is not possible.

Absences: Employees can now edit an upcoming absence that does not require approval, for example to update the attached document.

🔧 Improvements

Performance Reviews: Review answers are no longer saved automatically. Use "Save Draft" or "Save Changes" to keep your progress; the Hub warns you if you try to leave the page with unsaved changes.

Shift Planning: The name of each shift and open shift is now shown on the dashboard.

Change Requests: Approvers can now open the employee data change requests they are asked to approve.

Projects: Extra fields configured for projects are now shown in the Hub.

Kiosk: Time entries tracked at a kiosk are now recorded with the kiosk as their origin.

Languages: Dates and the relative times in the notification inbox are now shown in your language. German and Norwegian translations were refined.

Absences: Recording Loom videos is no longer available in absence requests and in the timesheet.

🐞 Bug Fixes

Approvals: Approval requests for inactive employees are no longer shown, and a specific error message is shown when an absence cannot be approved.

Expenses: The manager's expense list no longer keeps loading when filters are applied.

Absences: The company absences card no longer shows inactive employees.

Change Requests: The tooltip in the position change request form now shows the correct text.

Time Tracking: Fixed time tracking restrictions on project timesheets.
