Document Folders, Face Scan Login (Pilot), Request Form Controls & Fixes
This batch covers Hub updates deployed during the week of May 2–9, 2026.
🆕 New Features
Documents: The Corporate Documents tab now displays folders created by HR admins, with breadcrumb navigation for multi-level hierarchies. You'll only see folders that contain at least one document visible to you.
Kiosk (Pilot): Employees can now log in to kiosks by scanning their face. Admins enable face login per-kiosk via the "Login by Face Scan" checkbox in kiosk settings. Face enrollment is managed from the Employee record in Salesforce.
Request Forms: When a Request Form is configured to require a document upload, submissions are now blocked until at least one file is attached. The Attachments field displays a required indicator so the requirement is clear at a glance.
Announcements: Company announcements are now available in the Hub, enabling HR admins to publish and manage company-wide posts visible to employees.
🔧 Improvements
Documents: Corporate documents have moved to the Company menu (Company → Documents). Employees navigating to the previous location (Profile → Documents → Corporate) will see a redirect message directing them to the new location.
Request Forms: Request Forms now support "Hide reason field" and "Hide attachment field" options. When both are hidden, the Reason and Files step is skipped entirely. Hide flags take precedence over matching required flags.
Request Forms: Required extra fields are now enforced on project time entry save, preventing incomplete submissions.
Org Chart: The org chart automatically compresses its layout when filters are applied, making filtered views easier to navigate.
🐞 Bug Fixes
Documents: Fixed an issue where the "Hide Corporate Documents" setting had no effect in the Hub. The Corporate tab and Company → Documents item are now correctly hidden when the setting is enabled.
Calendar: Fixed an issue where absences spanning the year boundary (e.g. Dec 21 – Jan 1) were not displayed on the People → Absence Calendar for the year the absence started in. These absences are now visible in both the year they start and the year they end.
Hub Connection: When the Hub's Salesforce connection expires, employees now see a clear message asking them to contact their HR admin to reconnect, instead of a generic error page.
Authentication: Fixed a race condition in refresh token handling that could cause authentication failures when multiple requests attempted to rotate the Salesforce OAuth token simultaneously.
