Hub updates — October 2024

This entry covers changes to Hub deployed in October 2024.

🆕 New Features

Kiosk: Employees can now use the kiosk without being registered in the Hub.

Kiosk: The kiosk updates itself automatically and shows its version in the help dialog.

Inventory: Admins can now hide the inventory menu items in the Hub.

🔧 Improvements

HR HelpDesk: Anonymous tickets are now fully anonymous. They are only visible in the browser they were created in and cannot be commented on, and a hint explains this when you create one.

Documents: Opening a document entry that contains no file now shows a "File Not Found" message instead of an error.

🐞 Bug Fixes

Dashboard: The "My Team" and "All Company" options are shown correctly again, and the "My Team" view of absences loads for large teams.

Documents: Avatars and documents load reliably again after logging in again or restarting.

Performance Reviews: Peer feedback is visible to the reviewer again.

HR HelpDesk: Fixed the "Share with my manager" option.

Kiosk: The screen lock on Android tablets keeps working after the tablet wakes up.

General: Fixed tooltip texts and the password field placeholder.

General: Various smaller fixes and performance improvements.
