Mobile v4.1.63

Sending Cheers, push notifications, break types, and open shifts are available in the flair mobile app 4.1.63, released 2 July 2026 (builds v4.1.61–v4.1.63).

πŸ†• New Features

Engagement: You can now send and delete Cheers from the mobile app. Pick colleagues or whole teams, add an image and a message, and choose whether the cheer is public.

Notifications: Push notifications now arrive on your phone. Absences, approval requests, comments, workflow items, time entries, and cheers each open the right screen when tapped.

Time Tracking: Breaks can now be categorised. When your time framework has break types configured, the app asks which kind of break you are taking; with a single type it starts straight away.

Shift Planning: Open shifts now appear in your shift calendar alongside your own shifts. You can request an open shift β€” or cancel your request β€” without leaving the calendar.

Absence Management: When an absence category has more than one policy, the request screen now lets you choose the right one, and note and document requirements follow the policy you picked.

Approvals: Approval request details now show record-specific context. Expenses show their line items and amounts, and certificates, employee data changes, documents, and shift changes each show their own details.

Time Tracking: Administrators can now hide the clock in and out controls in the mobile app with the Hide Time Tracking Controls in Mobile setting on the time framework, mirroring the option that already existed for the Employee Hub. Timesheets and manual time entry stay available.

πŸ”§ Improvements

Documents: Tapping View file on a PDF now opens it directly in a document viewer instead of showing the share menu.

🐞 Bug Fixes

General: Fixed the app getting stuck on the loading screen at startup, and signing out now works reliably without an internet connection. The notification permission prompt appears after you sign in rather than on launch.

Absence Management: Fixed the document picker not reopening after closing it, and attachments over 4 MB now show a clear message instead of failing silently.

Approvals: Fixed the approval request list layout on narrow screens, where the record type label could crowd the employee name.

Engagement: Fixed the keyboard covering the Send button when writing a cheer on iOS, which made it impossible to submit.

Absence Management: Fixed a date mismatch that could shift absence allowance totals and timesheet days by a day across time zones.
