Hub updates — July 2024

This entry covers changes to Hub deployed in July 2024.

🆕 New Features

Workflows: Workflows in the Hub have a new layout. Tasks are grouped into workflow steps with a progress overview, tasks can have sub-tasks, and items are now called "tasks".

Workflows: Workflow tasks now support multiple files, previews of attached files and images, and many embedded videos. You can filter the workflows list by status, and the assignee name is shown on the workflow page.

Workflows: Task statuses update automatically for the responsible employee, and data request answers are saved with a save button.

Time Tracking: Timesheets and project timesheets now have a "Only with comments" filter and highlight days with comments. Project timesheets also show the number of comments per row.

Dashboard: Admins can now hide anniversaries and public holidays on the Hub dashboard.

🔧 Improvements

Notifications: Hub notifications about comments now link directly to the comment.

Comments: Opening a link to a comment that has been deleted now shows a clear message instead of an error.

🐞 Bug Fixes

HR HelpDesk: Hiding HR HelpDesk now also hides it in the team section, not only the personal section.

Comments: Comment links in Slack messages now open the correct page.

General: Various smaller fixes and performance improvements.
