Career Portal updates — July 2026
This entry covers changes to the Career Portal deployed in July 2026.
🆕 New Features
Job list: Admins can now configure which filters are shown on the career portal home page. Each filter is based on a job field, uses the admin's custom label, and offers the values of the listed jobs. Without configured filters, only the search box is shown.
🔧 Improvements
Application form: Uploaded files are now also checked on the server based on their actual content, so files with a renamed extension or unsupported type are rejected.
Job pages: Font family, font size and spacing pasted into rich text fields in Salesforce are removed, so text is shown in the portal's own typography. Colors, bold, italic, underline, strikethrough and text alignment are kept.
Job pages: Links set to open in a new tab in the Salesforce editor now open in a new tab on the career portal.
Embedding: Embedded career portals now show a back button by default, so visitors can return to the job list from job and application pages.
Application form: The message above the additional questions in step 2 now makes clear that answering them is optional.
General: Career portals load faster and more reliably during busy periods.
🐞 Bug Fixes
Job pages: Bullet points in the Job Description now have the same spacing as in the other job sections.
Embedding: Embedded career portals now scroll to the top when visitors move between jobs.
Embedding: Removed a large empty gap on application pages of career portals embedded with a tall fixed height.
